With so many different enemies, in this guide, I will go over the complete monster list and where to find them in Super Mario RPG

There are many different enemies, in all the different zones, and by using this guide, search for the one above the one you are missing to see what you have to do.

Also, one small thing to remember is that once you clear the game and see the credits, the game will automatically fill in every missing enemy in your monster list.

So monster hunting should be used when you want to see the different thoughts of the enemies you encounter.

Monster List: Basics

For an enemy to be added to the Monster List, you will only need to have encountered it at least once.

After that, an entry will be added, but most of the information will be left with question marks until the player has tried everything on the enemy.

There are two ways that a Monster Entry can be filled instantly.

  • In Booster Hill, there is an NPC behind a wall. For the price of 3 Frog Coins, he will instantly fill one entry of your Monster List. (He will not add new entries, but only fill existing ones.)
  • Once Mallow becomes a party member he will know the Special “Thought Peek”, and when you press the action command prompt correctly, you will instantly and freely complete the Monster Entry.

These were all the basics of the Monster List for Super Mario RPG. Now let’s go over all the different locations.
