Prince Harry is ready for Christmas! In fact, he’s so ready that he decided to take on the role of Santa Claus at a charitable event!
When the royal family member showed up on screen like that, people couldn’t stop smiling and were even touched and left speechless when they learned the reason why he was in the festive costume.
As it turns out, Harry wanted to deliver a very important message for Scotty’s, a British charity that supports kids who’d lost one of their parents while serving in the British Armed Forces.
The younger royal brother was a British Army Apache helicopter pilot himself and served 2 tours in Afghanistan.
As for the clip that showed Harry dressed as Santa, it was screened at one of the charity organization’s events not too long ago.
While the many members looked on, Harry addressed the crowd with a hearty ‘Ho, ho, ho!’ before he went on to say: ‘I hear that there are 190 of you there this year, so cause as much chaos as humanly possible, please. I also want to encourage you to look around and realize you are part of a family, an amazing community and that there’s support there for you every single day, should you ever need it.’
Harry’s message continued: ‘Having met some of you a few years ago…I know how incredibly strong you are. So yes, losing a parent’s incredibly hard but I know that every one of you, by helping each other out, that you’ll have an amazing future ahead of you and you are going to have a fantastic Christmas as well.’
