Meek Mill and Kenneth Petty, Nicki Minaj’s new husband, reportedly got into a bit of a verbal spat when they recently ran into each other, a new report from TMZ revealed. On Friday, Meek Mill and Kenneth met at a high-end clothing store in Maxfield, West Hollywood, where Meek happened to run into his old girlfriend and her new man.
It’s not entirely clear how the argument started, but a video of the altercation circulated online. TMZ captured footage of the pair being held back from each other, with Meek’s security team restraining him, and Nicki and Mill’s voices clearly audible in the background.
At the moment, it’s not clear how the fight started, but it sounds like they were talking smack over Minaj. Furthermore, sources claim Nicki and Kenneth weren’t surrounded by any security guards, whereas Meek Mill was.
In the video, Ken can be heard calling him a “p*ssy,” for not being able to face him personally without a group of men around. Moreover, Nicki can be heard participating in the yelling match as well, apparently calling the rapper a “b*tch” to his face, and also insinuating that he can’t just move on.
Followers of the ex-couple know that Meek apparently still has feelings for Nicki. Reported by Nick Markus back in March of 2019, sources explained that Meek Mill was “shocked” by the fact Nicki and Kenneth were still an item.
Markus claimed the rapper has been holding out hopes that maybe one day, he and Nicki could get back together. Meek has been waiting in the shadows for them to break up so he can make his move, but that day hasn’t come.
As fans of the rapper know, Nicki Minaj has been encouraged by fans to stay away from Petty, due to the fact he’s also a registered sex offender. A source who spoke with Hollywood Life claimed that Meek was “shocked” they were still together.
