Cimorelli dropped some unexpected but exciting news yesterday- they’re releasing their second album and writing a book! The album, titled Alive, is set to release this December. Yes, that means two full-length Cimorelli albums in one year!
Alive is described as “a positive, uplifting collection of life songs and some worship songs”. It also delves into heavier topics, such as “the urge to give up and end it all, worthlessness, [and] addiction.” The collection is said to be different from anything else they’ve released before, and includes a combination of older and newer tunes.
If you preorder Alive via PledgeMusic, you receive an automatic download of a new song from the album, One More Night. The song is mostly written by Dani Cimorelli, who was inspired to write it after talking to a fan on Twitter and telling her not to give up.

In other exciting news, Cimorelli also announced their first book, titled “Lessons Learned: A Collection of Stories, Encouragement, & Lessons We’ve Learned”. Christina Cimorelli said the book “has been a dream of mine for a long time and I can’t believe it’s coming true!”
“Lessons Learned” will include personal stories and life advice on topics such as family, friends, relationships, self-worth, career and success, written entirely by the girls themselves. The book is said to “uplift and inspire you, while also making you laugh and maybe cry.”

Both of these projects are being launched through the band’s PledgeMusic Page.
